
Cancellation Policy
We know plans can change and life happens. We also know you are going to love Circus with Purpose. As such, we have designed our cancellation policy to be as flexible as we can be. Check out the details below.
Entertainment
Deposits are non-refundable. Your 50% deposit secures your date, time, and performers, and covers administrative planning and potential lost bookings.
Rescheduling is allowed with at least 14 days' notice, subject to availability. The deposit will be transferred to your new date.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event will be charged 75% of the total fee, as it’s unlikely we can rebook your slot.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event will be charged the full fee, as our artists have already committed their time and may have begun travel or preparation.
In the rare case that we need to cancel (e.g. due to weather, illness, or travel disruption), we will refund 100% of your payment or offer a reschedule at no cost.
ONLINE Courses & Events
If you would like a refund of the online courses, contact us within the first 3 days of your course purchase. We will remove your access to the program and refund you 100% or allow you to apply the cost of the program to another course.
Also, any payments made in relation to online courses can be used as credit towards the same modules at one of our in-person event - even (and especially) if you loved your online training <3 We welcome you to the Circus with Purpose family.
In-Person Trainings and Retreats
Our in-person trainings and retreats involve third party service providers and significant advance planning. As such, we have a tiered refund policy, reflecting the costs incurred on our side. Cancellation is counted from the date we receive notice of the cancellation from you in writing via email.
Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another event within 12 months. Deposits are not valid after 12 months and non-transferable to another person.
Cancellations at least 60 days prior to the start date will be refunded 50% of payments made (less non-refundable deposit).
Cancellations 30 days prior to the start date will be refunded 25% of payments made (less non-refundable deposit).
Cancellations made less than 30 days before the start date are non-refundable and full balance is due.
We will not be responsible for cancellations by guests, and will not be refunding/discounting for being late, leaving early, flight cancellation, travel delays, personal illness, family illness/problems, natural disaster events, epidemics, COVID pandemic or political unrest. If you cancel your attendance to a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy will apply.
We strongly encourage you to have adequate travel insurance in place at the time of booking, to protect yourself against possible cancellation risks. Make sure your policy covers the full cost of the retreat fee, as well as unexpected cancellation, trip delay, losses and other risks. Please bring the policy with you in case of emergency.
Cancellation by Circus with Purpose
If there is a force majeure event, or any other event, which in the opinion of the retreat organizers may make holding the retreat unsafe or inappropriate, we may cancel or postpone the event. In this situation, we will stay in close contact with you, and offer 2 options: :
Your payment can be transferred in full to any other Circus with Purpose event (or, in the case of Panama Aerial + Sail retreat, to any other PaperDoll Militia retreat). There is no expiration for this credit, and you can choose option 2 below at any time.
If you prefer to cancel, you will receive a full refund minus $100. This will go towards our administrative costs and upfront expenses.
